Small tweaks to modernization
This was a great space for an office but just a little outdated. The scalloped trim is no longer a trend. And adding just a few vertical trim pieces all the way to the ceiling make it a cohesive "built in" look. Painted a contrasting color and installed a new light fixture. Clean lines and minimalization is just what the space needed to modernize.

A little bit of paint
Amazing what a little bit of paint can do! The tile was painted a dark slate color. A small investment compared to replacing the tile. And the walls and ceiling were painted white. What a great low cost update!

Updated Railing
Sleek, clean lines were the order for this new banister. Bright white spindles with wood tone handrail to match the new floor.

Addition Done Right
An addition is a great way to add space and value to a home. But they do have to be done right. The drop ceiling tiles were removed. The fireplace was reused but the old stone was removed and new tile added all the way to the ceiling with a cut out for the TV. Also shelves were added and really cool pendant lighting! Wood flooring was installed creating a beautiful warm feel. (And base trim was added later.)

Need Storage?
A constant need is more storage. This attic-like room had no closet or storage. We added a window seat with lid and side shelves and rods. Also, new flooring, recessed lighting and painted. A beautiful transformation.
